HAHA, typical bloody Harley rider, too scared to actually RIDE the thing. I seem to be living by the motto myslef of ‘ride it don’t hide it’. Honestly, what else do you have it for (other than some fairly unsavory activities engaged in while by oneself if my partner’s comments are anythimg to go by). Good on ya man, 100000 is a hell of a lot of riding. I’m sure the old girl still has plenty more good times up her ‘sleeve’ too. and yeah, 110db will let em know you’re there. The Duc isn’t quite that loud but still a very pleasant note from the somewhat more civilised Remus pipes.

G’day,

I run a motorbike site called Motorcycle Rides (http://www.motorcyclerides.com.au). The site is a personal project of mine, dedicated to recording all the great places we can ride in Aus. I am pretty sure that I now have the largest online directory of rides, recently surpassing 110 rides on the site (many with on-board videos recorded). I have also just finished building an iPhone app called MotoRides that has been recently approved by Apple, making our rides now easily accessible when on the road via an iPhone.

Anyway, I thought it was worth sending you an email and at least letting you know about my project. I reckon my site (which is completely free to use) would be of interest to your readers.

Wow, what a lovely encounter with the old lady. Would that everyone you met was as generous. Imagine how much of her income that simple $10 constituted. Very humbling.
