Over $30,000 to Answers for Kids Cancer

Less than a month from pushing through $20,000 the Everyday Hero Ride Around Australia team has broken through $30,000 and is still climbing.  Combined with the offline fundraising I would put the total well in excess of $60,000 that has been raised for the Steven Walter Foundation to the Answers for Kids Cancer program.  What a huge effort!  You can read a bit more about the Steven Walter Foundation at their website.

Time to Start Working on the Motorcycle

So with bang on (only) three and a half months to go I need to get cracking on the work I need to do to my Yamaha Road Star.  By 1 September I want to be at a stage where all work is completed so there is no last second mishaps.  This means I only have ten weekends to get everything done which should be fine, providing I don’t mess anything up along the way. There’s a number of tasks to do including:

First I am going to try the MotionX iPhone application which I will use to automatically log location updates to my Twitter and Facebook account every 15 minutes. Unfortunately I have been advised that most GPS apps for the iPhone absolutely

Ride Around Australia October 2010

In October 2010 I rode a Yamaha Road Star around Australia to raise money for the Steven Walter Foundation's Answers for Kids Cancer Program. This site documents the trip prep in the lead up to the journey and a daily diary of the trip itself.
